Hyderabad, June 27, 2021: As theaters are set to reopen in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in July, many Telugu film producers are gearing up for the release of their films. Suresh Productions' one of the most-anticipated films, Narappa, starring Venkatesh is expected to hit big screens in the first batch of releases followed by Virata Parvam and others. Venkatesh's other film, Drushyam 2 which is an official remake of the Malayalam film Drishyam 2, has almost been confirmed for direct-to-digital release on Amazon Prime Video. Earlier, Drushyam 2 was said to be released before Narappa hit theaters, but now, as per latest buzz, Narappa will release first. 'Narappa' is the remake of the Tamil hit 'Asuran'. Venkatesh is reprising Dhanush's role. Directed by Srikanth Addala, 'Narappa' has Priyamani as the female lead along with Karthik Rathnam, Prakash Raj, Murali Sharma, and Sampath Raj in prominent roles. Mani Sharma is composing the music. The film was earlier scheduled to release on 14 May 2021 but was postponed due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in India. Stay tuned...

Hyderabad, May 22 - Telugu star Venkatesh Daggubati returns to the big screen with the sequel to 2019's superhit comedy film "F2". The last film of Venkatesh to release in theaters was "Venky Mama" (2019) as his next two films, "Narappa" and "Drusyam 2" were released direct-to-OTT via Amazon Prime Video in 2019. ## Directed by Anil Ravipudi, "F3" marks the big-screen return of the actor after almost three years and he has promised a fantastic theatrical experience to his fans who were upset with him for sending the aforementioned movies to OTT. The makers held the pre-release even of "F3" on May 21st in Hyderabad. ## During the event, Victory Venkatesh said, "My fans were a little disappointed when my films like Narappa and Drishyam 2 were released in OTT. I promise with F3, we will give you a fantastic experience". The movie is scheduled to release on May 27th.## Producer Dil Raju also said that the censor board member has appreciated the movie and called it a perfect family entertainer. "It's a full fun-packed movie. Just after Censor, board members told us that this would be full meals for families. Now, I guarantee that you will have an unlimited amount of fun while watching F3", he said. The movie has been certified with a clean "U" certificate. ## "F3: Fun and Frustration" is produced by Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. Telangana Film Chamber Requests To Telugu Producers To Stop OTT Releases Until October

Hyderabad, July 3, 2021: Telangana film chamber of commerce has expressed concern over Telugu producers opting for the direct-to-digital release of their films amid the covid-19 pandemic. As per reports, one of the leading production houses of Telugu industry, Suresh Productions is reportadly considering its most-awaited films like Narappa, Virata Parvam, among others for direct OTT release. ## Raising concern over the latest development in the Telugu industry, the Telangana film chamber has requested the producers to stop the OTT release of their films until October. The film chamber is hopeful that theaters will be fully operational by October this year. The film chamber has warned them for a future course of action if producers continue to release their films on OTT. ## However, the chamber headed by Hon. Secretary Sunil Narang, said that "If the theaters do not open by October, you can consider OTT release". This decision has been taken keeping the larger interest of the entire Telugu Film industry, which has been hit hard by the covid-19 pandemic. ## The film chamber also appealed to the Andhra Pradesh Government to immediately make a decision about ticket rates. "The survival of theaters is at stake with such low rates. Theaters will close and many will lose employment".
