Warner Bros. Announces The Release Dates Of The Suicide Squad, The Conjuring 3, And Mortal Kombat In India

Mumbai, July 27, 2021: As theaters have reopened in most of the states of India, Hollywood production house, Warner Bros. has announced the release dates of its three much-awaited films - The Suicide Squad, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, and Mortal Kombat, in India. ## "Mortal Combat", and "The Conjuring 3" have already been released in international markets but were delayed in India due to the covid-19 pandemic. These two films will now release on July 30 and August 13 respectively in multiple Indian languages. "The Suicide Squad", however, will release in India on the same date as its international release on August 5. ## Martial arts fantasy film, Mortal Combat, had previously released in India in April in languages other than Hindi. The Suicide Squad and The Conjuring are popular franchises in India and are sure to attract audiences to the theatres on their names. ## "It is heartening to know that Warner Bros Pictures have announced the release dates of Mortal Kombat, The Suicide Squad 2, and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. Many states have given permission for cinemas to re-open and the release of these movies in three consecutive weeks in multi-languages and multi-formats would surely give a boost to the industry by inducing moviegoers back to the big screen to enjoy these amazing films", Kamal Gianchandani, CEO, PVR Pictures said, as per News18. ## Meanwhile, Universal Pictures' "Fast & Furious 9", which was announced for August 5 release in India, has now been postponed. Considering the franchise's popularity in India, the production house has decided to release the film once key markets like Maharashtra open up.
