Gal Gadot To Return As Wonder Woman In DCEU's 'Shazam! Fury Of The Gods'!

Los Angeles, December 18 - A sequel to DC's 2019 hit, Shazam!, is currently under development, titled, Shazam! Fury Of The Gods, for 2023 release. It is one of the most exciting upcoming films within the DC Extended Universe (DCEU), which includes films like The Batman, Black Adam, The Flash, and Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom, scheduled to hit theaters in 2022. ## "Shazam", meanwhile, is considered as one of the best and most beloved films within DCEU, and one of the reasons for that is the last shot of the film, where Billy powers up and joins Freddy for lunch as promised, however, he ends up bringing along a friend, Superman, who wasn't actually Henry Cavill suited up. ## It was earlier reported that the Shazam sequel would feature a trio of villainous sisters as adversaries to the titular hero. Then it was revealed that Helen Mirren will be playing the oldest sister, Hespera daughter of Atlas, along with Lucy Liu, and Rachel Zegler. Lucy Liu playing Kalypso who is the second daughter of Atlas, while Zegler will be playing the mysterious third daughter.## And now, according to Illuminerdi, Gal Gadot will be making her presence in the highly-anticipated sequel as Wonder Woman. ## Wonder Woman making a cameo appearance in Shazam! Fury Of The Gods makes sense. It looks like Shazam and the Shazam Fam will be taking on three daughters of Atlas, which could have some connection to Shazam possessing the stamina of Atlas. Wonder Woman herself is entwined with the Old Gods being the daughter of Zeus, king of the old gods.## There is a possibility that Gal Gadot's cameo role as Wonder Woman in the Shazam sequel could set up the stage for the third film in the Wonder Woman franchise, which is currently in the scripting stage and likely to go on floors in 2023. ## Shazam: Fury of The Gods is currently set to release in theaters on June 2, 2023.## Stay tuned...

It was originally announced for the 2021 release but was pushed back after F9 was delayed to this past summer due to the COVID-19 pandemic. F9 set several pandemic box office records and grossed over $726 million worldwide, becoming the fourth highest-grossing film of 2021.## Justin Lin, who previously directed on Fast 3 through 6, and F9, will return to direct the film for the last time. The movie will also bring back many members of the family, including Vin Diesel's Dom, Michelle Rodriguez's Letty, Sung Kang's Han, and others. ## Meanwhile, Vin Diesel had recently requested Dwayne Johnson, who plays enemy-turned-friend Luke Hobbs in the Fast movies, to come back for the two-part finale F10. The Rock, however, earlier confirmed that he would not return for Fast 10 or 11, and would instead focus on the spinoff series, Hobbs & Shaw.## Stay tuned...

Benedict Cumberbatch Aka Doctor Strange Urged Fans To Stay Away From Spider-Man: No Way Home Spoilers

Mumbai, December 14 - Marvel star Benedict Cumberbatch aka Doctor Strange has urged fans to stay away from "Spider-Man: No Way Home" spoilers. Tom Holland-fronted "Spider-Man: No Way Home", which has had a world premiere on Monday in Los Angeles, possibly holds many secrets that Marvel/Sony don't want to come out before the movie officially releases in theaters. ## While the early reviews for the film are highly positive, Marvel actors are pleading with people online to not reveal anything that could kill the excitement. Marvel released a video featuring Cumberbatch. In the video, Doctor Stranger claims that he didn't watch the film before and only saw the pages that included him and acted in scenes featuring the Sorcerer Supreme.## "Dear fans, it's Doctor Strange here. I've been accused of being a curmudgeon-y English sort of killjoy", Cumberbatch joked. "But I think the biggest possible killjoy would be to geek out and get that tiny bit of enjoyment from being the one to spoil the movie for others. Really, down the line, kids, parents, who knows, who really want to see this movie. I am one of them".## "I haven't seen this film. I don't know any more about it than the pages I've gotten. The character I play, the stories for him. The adventures he goes on, I'll tell you about that shortly. But seriously, I get it. It's so hard, you want to tell all your friends. I'm not going to tell any of my friends about it", he added.## Don’t worry, Benedict, we won’t say a word…🤫#DoctorStrange #SpiderManNoWayHome pic.twitter.com/t7B3UYgp2e— Marvel Entertainment (@Marvel) December 14, 2021 ## "Spider-Man: No Way Home", which brings to an end of the Home Coming trilogy, is on the track to earn $200M - $250M at the domestic and a potential $500 million at the global box office over the opening weekend.
