Red Notice Set To Become The Most Watched Film On Netflix

Mumbai, November 24 - The art-heist thriller "Red Notice" has turned into gold for streaming giant Netflix. Starring Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, and Ryan Reynolds in leading roles, "Red Notice" is on track to become the most-watched film on the streamer in its first 28 days of release. ## Released on November 12 (Netflix), "Red Notice" broke into streamer's Top 10 Most Popular English Films of all time this past week, registering 277.9 million hours viewed. In just 11 days of release, it hit the 2nd spot on the Netflix chart and is about to surpass the current No. 1 holder, "Bird Box", which raked in 282 million hours viewed in its first 28 days. ## Netflix released the new data, which ranks its most popular titles based on viewing hours, as part of its revamped and expanded Top 10 lists. Netflix says the metrics will be audited by EY, with results to be released in 2022.## In the first 3 days of release (12-14 Nov.), "Red Notice" raked in 148.7 million hours viewed and was the number 1 movie in the first three days. From November 15 to November 21, it dropped to the 2nd spot and gained 129.1 million hours viewed. During the same period, "The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star" scored 24.77 million hours viewed and secured the top spot. ## "Red Notice" is directed and written by Rawson Marshall Thurber. Spider-Man: No Way Home Domestic Box Office Projection Aims $135M-$185M In The Opening Weekend

Box Office: James Bond 'No Time To Die' Overtakes 'F9' To Become Highest-Grossing Non-Chinese Film Of Pandemic Era

Los Angeles, November 21 - Daniel Craig's final outing as James Bond, "No Time To Die", is now the highest-grossing non-Chinese film at the worldwide box office. MGM/Eon/Universal's 25th Bond film, crossed "Fast & Furious 9" ($722 million WW) over the weekend for its total global box office collection of $733 million. ## Through last Sunday, "No Time To Die" became only the second Hollywood title to reach $700 million globally and the biggest Hollywood movie overseas in 2021, topped "F9". In total to date, the spy thriller has an estimated gross of $154M domestic and $579M at the international box office.## No Time to Die is released internationally by Universal and domestically through MGM's United Artists Releasing banner. The Cary Joji Fukunaga-directed opened in most overseas markets in September before it debuted in North America on October 8. Overall throughout its run, it scored the biggest pandemic opening weekend in 36 markets.## The United Kingdom is leading the overseas chart for "No Time To Die", grossing £95.2M or $128 million. It beats James Bond's "Spectre" to become the UK's 3rd highest-grossing film of all time. In China, the movie currently stands at $60.4 million after grossing half a million on Saturday there while in Australia, where it opened 9 days ago, grossed $13 million so far. ## Overall, "No Time To Die" is the third highest-grossing film of the pandemic era worldwide. Mumbai, November 17 - The moment, all Spider-Man fans around the world have been waiting for, is finally here as Sony/Marvel released the second trailer of the 3rd MCU Spider-Man flick, "No Way Home", on Wednesday (IST). The awaited 2nd trailer premiered only a month before the movie releases in theaters (Dec. 17), and it gave a closer look at what Peter Parker aka Spider-Man is going to face in the movie, which is seen as the finest Spider-Man film. ## When someone says that "No Way Home" is your film to watch out for, trust him because it is going to be that epic in many ways. It is not like the previous Spidey movies where Peter Parker made things miserable and when they looked getting out of control, he fought with them and managed to save the universe. This time, he has many things to get right and in that process, he is going to face a Villainous Multiverse, in which, all the previous super-villains of Spider-Man movies, come face-to-face to take on Tom Holland's web-slinger. ## So this is how it all begins. Peter Parker (Tom Holland), whose identity as Spider-Man revealed at the end of 2019's "Spider-Man: Far From Home", seeks the help of Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to undo the chaos created by him. However, in the process of hiding his identity, the multiverse gets open that unleashes a suite of villains from previous "Spider-Man" franchises, including Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin from 2002's "Spider-Man", Alfred Molina's Otto Octavius from 2004's "Spider-Man 2", Thomas Haden Church's Sandman from 2007's "Spider-Man 3", Rhys Ifans' the Lizard from 2012's "The Amazing Spider-Man" and Jamie Foxx's Electro from 2014's "The Amazing Spider-Man 2".## It was already revealed through confirmed reports and major leaks that the previous Spider-Man villains would be featuring in "No Way Home", their inclusion had also led fans to expect that the actors who previously played the iconic web-slinger - Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield - would be making their presence in the second trailer. However, this didn't happen despite Molina's Doc Ock does not consider Holland to be Peter Parker, as shown in the trailer. ## The 2nd "No Way Home" trailer was first launched at a fan event in Los Angeles, where Tom Holland and others were present. While the guessing game is still on about the inclusion of Tobey and Garfield - Holland did appear to hint that such a moment could be in the film by referring to shooting a "true moment in cinematic history".## Holland did not spill the details, but he said that when Marvel first pitched him the movie, "I was like, 'That's never going to work. There's no way you're going to be able to get that done'. And they did". He added, "You're going to see a style of fighting in this film that you've never seen in a Spider-Man movie before. Box Office: Disney's Domestic Blockbuster 'Jungle Cruise' Flops In China After Delayed Release

Los Angeles, November 16 - Disney Studios' "Jungle Cruise" has failed to attract Chinese audiences at the box office after a delayed release in the country. Starring Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt, the family-friendly adventure film was released in China over the past weekend (Nov. 12) and could generate only $3.3 million in the first three days (Fri-Sun). ## "Jungle Cruise" had reportedly cost Disney around $200 million for the production. It was released in the US on July 30, simultaneously in theaters and on Disney+. It earned over $35 million at the domestic box office and estimated $30 million on Disney+ Premier Access in its first three days. Currently, it has earned over $215 million worldwide at the box office. ## The film, however, received positive word of mouth from Chinese audiences who watched the film in theaters. However, the rampant piracy, and a limited marketing effort from Disney in the "Fast & Furious" franchise-loving country, played a big part in the movie not performing well in China. ## "Jungle Cruises" scored 8.9 on Maoyan and 6.1 on Douban, similar to MGM's James Bond installment No Time to Die. While "No Time To Die" has earned $58 million so far in China after $4.4 million in its 4th weekend, Disney's film has been projected to earn a total of just $6.19 million, according to the Maoyan estimates.## A sequel to "Jungle Cruise" has been greenlit at Disney, for which, the announcement was made when the original film grossed $100 million at the North America box office. Mumbai, November 14 - James Bond "No Time To Die" has crossed a mammoth $700 million at the global box office after $28.5 million worldwide this weekend. It becomes the 2nd Hollywood film, after Universal Pictures' "Fast & Furious 9", to reach the milestone during the covid-19 pandemic. It currently stands at $708 million, including $150 million in North America. ## Daniel Craig's swan song as James Bond, "No Time To Die" continued to remain strong at the domestic box office despite being available on PVOD as of this past Tuesday. It grossed $4.62 million in its 6th weekend top $150 million domestic box office. It is likely to cross "A Quiet Place part II" ($160 million) to place fifth during the pandemic. ## "No Time To Die" is currently the 6th highest-grossing film in the Bond franchise at the domestic box office, behind only the 2002 "Die Another Day" ($161M), $167 million in 2006, $168 million in 2008, $304 million in 2012, and $200 million in 2015. Inflation notwithstanding, the 25th Bond film is the 3rd highest at the worldwide BO in the franchise, after "Skyfall" ($1.1 billion), and "Spectre" ($880 million). ## Cary Joji Fukunaga-directed will most likely cross "F9's" global box office total of $721 million, including $549 million overseas, by the end of the next weekend, to become the top-grossing Hollywood film during the pandemic. It has earned $126 million in the United Kingdom so far. In China, it has earned $58 million in the first 17-days of release there. Box Office: Venom 2 Becomes The Second Hollywood Film To Cross $200M At The Domestic BO

Los Angeles, November 14 - Yet another outright theatrical title has achieved a box office milestone during the covid-19 pandemic. Sony Pictures' "Venom: Let There Be Carnage" has become the second Hollywood film, after Marvel Studios' "Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings", to go past $200 million at the domestic box office during the health crisis. ## "Venom 2", which stars Tom Hardy in the title role, may not cross "Shang-Chi's" box office record, but it is a great box office milestone, Sony will celebrate. The superhero movie was always meant for theatrical release, and despite other studios were opting for day-and-date release on streamers and in theaters, Sony stuck to the old proven way to release the film and got the result they had wished for. ## Overseas, "Venom 2" is going strong and will cross $430 million by the end of Sunday (November 14). While "Venom 2" is way behind "Venom" (2018) in terms of box office numbers, this is also a fact that the sequel is yet to get a release date in China, where the 2018 film had minted a whopping $269 million, for its $856 million worldwide gross. ## "Venom 2" was originally set for Sept. 17 release but was pushed by a week on Sept. 24 and then Oct. 15 against Universal/Blumhouse/Miramax’s Halloween Kills. All of this changed, with Venom 2 heading to the first weekend of October after Shang-Chi put up fantastic business over Labor Day weekend with a $94.6M 4-day, $75.3M 3-day.## Despite the last-minute change, "Venom 2" opened to the pandemic best over 3-days with $90M. Disney Releases The First Looks At Marvel Studios' 'She-Hulk', 'Moon Knight', And 'Ms. Marvel' On Disney Plus Day

Among the highly-anticipated shows, the studio released the first looks at three of Marvel Studios' upcoming shows that include "Moon Knight", "She-Hulk", and "Ms. Marvel". ## Apart from giving the first looks at the aforementioned shows, Disney/Marvel also released an extended action sequence from its next Disney Plus series, "Hawkeye", which is set to debut on the streamer on Nov. 24. The latest superhero offering from the studio in its Phase four, "Eternals", which was released on November 5 on the occasion of Diwali, packs a solid punch at the Indian box office with Rs. 8.75 crores gross on the first day, despite the two-way clash with Bollywood's "Sooryavanshi" and Tamil biggie "Annaatthe". ## "Eternals", which is directed by Oscar-winner Chloé Zhao, had a promising advance booking with Rs. 2.48 crores for day 1. The superhero film, however, exceeded the expectations and scored huge at the box office. As compared to the recent Hollywood pic, Sony's "Venom: Let There Be Carnage", "Eternals" witnessed an astonishing growth of 150%. "Venom 2" had earned Rs. 2.95 crore net on day 1. ## Moreover, "Eternals" along with domestic blockbusters - Sooryavanshi and Annaatthe - gave a much-needed boost to the Indian exhibition sector, especially in the Hindi market. Rohit Shetty's "Sooryavanshi", which was held back for more than 18 months, was the top performer on the first day of its release as it created havoc at the box office. With an estimated total of Rs. 30 crores, it proved to be the biggest opening for Bollywood since the beginning of the pandemic. ## Rajinikanth's "Annaatthe", on the other hand, was released a day earlier and grossed Rs. 34.70 crores on its first day. On its second day, the action entertainer grossed approx.
