Mumbai, November 30 - IMDb has unveiled the list of the top 10 most popular Indian theatrical movies of 2023 so far and once again it is dominated by Bollywood titles. The list is determined by page views on IMDb by fans. ## Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan and Pathaan are the first two most popular Indian movies of the year, respectively. Both movies grossed over 2100 crores at the global box office and are currently the top two highest-grossing Indian movies of the year. Interestingly, SRK is also the most popular Indian star of the year, as per IMDb rankings. ## Karan Johar's directorial return, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, is the third most popular Indian movie of the year so far. The film was a box office success with a worldwide gross collection of over 350 crores.## Thalapathy Vijay's action entertainer Leo takes the 4th spot in the most popular movies list. Mumbai, April 12 - Ajay Devgn-directed and fronted action drama Bholaa has crossed the 100 crores gross at the worldwide box office, becoming the second film of Ajay in a row after Drishyam 2 to reach the milestone. ## An adaptation of the Tamil hit Kaithi, Bholaa reached the 100 crores mark on its 13th day and is continuing with a decent run at the domestic as well as overseas box office despite the mixed reviews and not being a multiplex-friendly flick. ## In India, it has grossed approx. 90 crores (75+ crore net) through 2nd Tuesday. By 3rd Friday, Bholaa will become the highest-grossing Hindi remake (when the original version is available in Hindi) post the covid-19 pandemic, after crossing Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan's Vikram Vedha's 78.9 crores net. ## At the overseas box office, Bholaa has collected approx. 13 crores, pushing the total worldwide cume to approx. 103 crores so far. Mumbai, March 31 - Bholaa which had a decent opening day of 11.20 crores net has shown a drop of around 35% on its second day. The drop was expected as the first day was helped by the partial holiday of Ram Navami and films do drop after partial holidays or national holidays especially when the next day is a working day but here the drop is more than expected especially considering the first day was not a big day at the box office. ## The early estimate collections suggest 7+ crores net on the first Friday. This will take the first two days of collections to around the 18.20cr net box office mark. Tomorrow is Saturday and the film should show a growth of around 20-25% or even more to come at the first-day levels. The combined business of Saturday and Sunday should be around the 30cr net mark for any chance of survival at the box office. ## Single screens continue to draw a big audience, especially in the mass circuits of UP and Bihar, also this is where Ajay Devgn has the biggest popularity. Ajay Devgn Talks About 'Bholaa' Cinematic Universe

Mumbai, March 25 - Actor-filmmaker Ajay Devgn's action thriller Bholaa is getting ready for its worldwide release on March 30. The much-awaited movie is the adaptation of the Tamil hit "Kaithi" which was directed by Lokesh Kangaraj and featured Karthi in the lead role. ## "Kaithi" was part of Kangaraj's cinematic universe which also includes Kamal Haasan's "Vikram". Now, with "Bholaa", Ajay Devgn is set to turn this into a franchise that will be completely different from Lokesh's version. ## During a recent interview with Variety, Devgn revealed that Bholaa ends on a note which will give the feel of the second part. He said that in the upcoming parts, new characters will be introduced and some of them might be revealed in "Bholaa" itself.## "Bholaa ends at a note where you will feel that there is going to be a part two, it would not be a similar part two like 'Vikram' or an adaptation. Because we will be bringing in different kinds of new characters.
