Top Films Released Today In The Past: Devdas Leads Followed By Super 30 And Bhaag Milkha Bhaag
Mumbai, July 12 - The box office has witnessed some hugely popular films in the past on this date. Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Devdas starring Shah Rukh Khan in the titular role is one of them. Hrithik Roshan starrer much-acclaimed Super 30 was also released on this date in 2019 and so was Bhaag Milkha Bhaag in 2013. ## Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed Devdas which was an adaptation of the original Devdas starring legendary Dilip Kumar. Sanjay Leela Bhansali just tested huge success in the form of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam starring Salman Khan, Aishwariya Rai, and Ajay Devgn. The film scored the third-highest collections in 1999 and hence the expectations were sky-high for this project. As expected, Devdas lived onto the expectations and became the highest-grossing film of 2002.## The other release of the day was Super30 starring Hrithik Roshan which was directed by Vikas Bahl. The film was one of the top-grossing films of 2019. Hrithik Roshan recorded his best year of the 2010s decade in 2019 as he also delivered blockbuster highest grosser War in 2019 preceding a superhit in Super30. ## The next huge film is Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. Directed by Rakesh Omprakash Mehra Bhaag Milkha Bhaag starring Farhan Akhtar in a titular role became one of the biggest hits of that year.
