Yash's 'KGF Chapter 1' Bhojpuri Version Is The Most-Watched Film Worldwide On YouTube

Bengaluru, July 3 - Superstar Yash-fronted KGF has been one of the most successful franchises in India. The two films in the franchise have grossed approx. 1500 crores at the worldwide box office, this includes a massive 1210 crores of recently released "KGF Chapter 2". ## "KGF Chapter 1", which was released in 2018, was the highest-grossing Kannada film with approx. 238 crores worldwide gross before KGF 2 shattered all the records. Now, it has been revealed that KGF Chapter 1 is the most-watched film worldwide on YouTube. ## The Bhojpuri version of KGF was uploaded on Goldmines' YouTube channel a year ago. The movie has now a whopping 615 million views on the video-sharing platform, which is reportedly the highest ever for any film in the world (since its release on YouTube). It also has nearly 6 million likes which is again, the highest ever. ## Directed by Prashanth Neel, and produced by Hombale Films, KGF film focuses on Rocky, a high-ranking assassin in Mumbai, who was born in poverty. After being offered total control of Mumbai by his employer's boss, he disguises himself as a slave laborer in the Narachi limestone mine (Kolar Gold Fields), aiming to assassinate Garuda, the future heir of KGF.## Yash stars as Rocky in the film alongside Ramachandra Raju as Garuda, Srinidhi Shetty, Vasishta N. Bengaluru, June 27 - Rakshit Shetty's adventure comedy-drama film, 777 Charlie has continued its dream run and scored yet another excellent weekend at the domestic box office.## Directed by Kiranraj K, "777 Charlie" became the highest-grossing film of Rakshit Shetty's career by topping "Avane Srimannarayana" (ASN). It had grossed 76 crores through the second Tuesday at the worldwide box office. This was enough for it to outshine "Avane Srimannarayana (ASN)" to become the biggest movie of Shetty's career.## Produced by Rakshit Shetty, and G. S. Gupta, the movie scored another 8.55 crores net in its 3rd weekend, which takes the total net collection to 73.05 crores, including 59.13 crores in the original Kannada languages. Prithviraj Sukumaran Confirmed His Role In Prabhas-Fronted 'Salaar'

Hyderabad, June 25 - Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran has confirmed that he is doing Prabhas-fronted "Salaar". The actor hasn't started shooting for his portion yet and said that he would be meeting with director Prashanth Neel to find dates for the movie. ## Prithviraj also said that he was offered "Salaar" two years ago and he immediately said yes as he found the story very interesting. However, due to the covid-19 pandemic, a lot of things changed which tempted Prithviraj to back out from the project because he too had his other commitments. ## Prabhas, who is playing the title role of Salaar, convinced Prithviraj to do the role which he agreed upon. He will be playing a very important role for which the details are yet to be known. Hombale Films Produced Rishab Shetty's 'Kantara' To Have A Pan-India Release; Producer Hints

Bengaluru, May 25 - The biggest Kannada production and the powerful force behind the KGF franchise, Hombale Films is aiming to deliver 1 Pan-India film every year. The studio, headed by Vijay Kiragandur, has so far released two Pan-India films in the form of KGF movies, and the result is there for anyone to see. ## Hombale Films currently has 14 films under pipeline and a few of them will have Pan-India releases. Rishab Shetty's action thriller, Kantara, which was announced last year, might have a multilingual release. The film deals with the human vs nature conflict but with a twist of fantasy. ## Producer Vijay Kiragandur, who has produced this film under Homable Films, said in a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama that they are contemplating releasing Kantara in multiple languages, including Hindi. "We'll decide on May 25. That's when we'll see the first cut. It looks pretty good to have a multilingual role, but the final decision will be taken once we see the film", he said. ## Apart from playing the lead role, Rishab Shetty has himself directed the movie from his own script.
