Dhanush To Collaborate With Telugu Director Venky Atluri For Another Trilingual Film!

Hyderabad, June 28, 2021: A few days after announcing his Telugu debut with Sekhar Kammula's trilingual movie, Dhanush seems to be getting more interested to work with Telugu directors. The national award-winning actor has reportadly signed his second Telugu movie with Tholi Prema director Venky Atluri. ## According to Deccan Chronicle, producer Suryadevara Nagavamsi has been planning to make a trilingual film for a long time and he has found this potential in Dhanush. Nagavamsi feels a trilingual film would do justice to the script, given Dhanush's popularity in the South and in Bollywood. ## It is said that Dhanush has agreed to work on the Atluri film. It will be Karnan actor's second back-to-back trilingual movie, to be made simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, after Sekhar Kammula's film. He already has a Hindi film, Atrangi Re, in the pipeline that is expected to release soon. ## Meanwhile, producer Nagavamsi is already working on the Bollywood remake of Ala Vaikunthapurramloo with Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon, and co-producing the Jersey remake, which stars Shahid Kapoor. Venkatesh's Narappa To Hit Theaters In July!

Hyderabad, June 27, 2021: As theaters are set to reopen in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in July, many Telugu film producers are gearing up for the release of their films. Suresh Productions' one of the most-anticipated films, Narappa, starring Venkatesh is expected to hit big screens in the first batch of releases followed by Virata Parvam and others. Venkatesh's other film, Drushyam 2 which is an official remake of the Malayalam film Drishyam 2, has almost been confirmed for direct-to-digital release on Amazon Prime Video. Earlier, Drushyam 2 was said to be released before Narappa hit theaters, but now, as per latest buzz, Narappa will release first. 'Narappa' is the remake of the Tamil hit 'Asuran'. Venkatesh is reprising Dhanush's role. Directed by Srikanth Addala, 'Narappa' has Priyamani as the female lead along with Karthik Rathnam, Prakash Raj, Murali Sharma, and Sampath Raj in prominent roles. Mani Sharma is composing the music. Hyderabad, June 26, 2021: Superstar Dhanush recently announced his collaboration with National Award-winning Telugu director, Sekhar Kammula for a trilingual movie. Due to Dhanush's wide popularity across languages, the movie will be shot in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi simultaneously. ## According to the latest buzz, Dhanush has been paid a career-highest salary of around Rs. 25 crores for the film. Kiara Advani To Play Female Lead Opposite Jr. NTR In Koratala Siva's Directorial?

However, the Telugu film industry did refrain from adopting this medium so early and it got a reward for showing courage by going for theatrical release. ## Ravi Teja starrer Krack, which was released on January 9, was the first Indian blockbuster movie during the covid-19 pandemic era. The movie released amid a lot of uncertainty and grossed over Rs. 60 crore worldwide and paved the way for others to follow. Now, actor Ravi Teja is gearing up for the release of his next, Khiladi. ## Khiladi was supposed to release on May 28, however, the second wave of the covid-19 hit makers' plan out of the park and forced them to postpone the release date. Though there are rumors that Khiladi will skip theatrical release and opt for an OTT release, director Ramesh Verma says that is not going to happen and they will wait for the theaters to open. He even went on to say that, unlike last year, there is no excitement for direct to OTT release this year. ## "Khiladi is a 100 percent theater film. Many films released online last year. Shooting Abroad For 'Thank You' As India Battled Covid Was Upsetting: Raashii Khanna

Hyderabad, May 28, 2021: South Indian actress Raashii Khanna said that it was upsetting for her to shoot for her Telugu movie, Thank You, in a foreign location at a time when India is battling the second wave of covid-19. The actress was shooting for the film in Milan, Italy and recently returned home. ## Speaking about her experience shooting for the film in Italy, Raashii said it was safe because people in the country very responsibly observed protocol. ## "We were in the middle of the pandemic and I was at first scared to go there (Italy). Once there, I realized people in Italy were very responsible for wearing masks even though the second wave had passed. Very few people were shooting with us in the crew and all precautions had been taken", Raashii told IANS. ## "While I was there, the second wave in India intensified and I was constantly reading about what was happening in India. It was upsetting. It felt bad that our country was suffering and we were away. Now we are back and we can't do much. It's a helpless situation. We shot for what we had gone for, but it was upsetting humanly. We were constantly thinking about what was happening back home", she added. ## Raashii, who made her debut in 2013 with Madras Cafe - her only Hindi movie to date, said that shooting in Italy for "Thank You" was challenging as there were restrictions on movement because they were Indian. Some of the locations were canceled as the growing pandemic situation in India went against them. ## "There were days when we were shooting for 18 hours a day because we didn't have a choice. It wasn't like pre-pandemic that you could shoot at luxury and anywhere you wanted to", the actress added. ## Thank You is a romantic comedy film that stars Naga Chaitanya in the male lead role. It will be Raashii's second release with Naga Chaitanya after "Venky Mama", and she says her role in the film will be relatable.
