Chennai, May 29 - Tamil summer blockbuster, Don has become the highest-grossing film ever for actor Sivakarthikeyan whose rise over the years has been phenomenal. After scoring his first 100 crores grosser in the form of Doctor in October last year, Siva has done it again, and this time with much more ease. ## Directed by debutante Cibi Chakaravarthi, "Don" has so far grossed approx. 105 crores worldwide through the third Saturday. The coming-of-age romantic comedy breached the 100 crores gross mark in just two weeks which also took it past "Doctor" to become the biggest grosser for Siva. "Doctor" had grossed a little over 100 crores worldwide. ## "Don" is a big hit in the home state Tamil Nadu as it has grossed approx. 67 crores in the state through 3rd Friday. It is among the biggest grosser in Tamil Nadu this year with "Beast", "Valimai", "KGF Chapter 2", and "RRR". In Chennai city, "Don" has managed to collect approx. 7 crores which are fantastic numbers. ## Produced by Lyca Productions and Sivakarthikeyan Productions, "Don" is currently the 4th biggest movie in Tamil this year and it will finish with that spot. It has been a dream box office run for, Don, so far and it isn't looking to slow down anytime soon. ## Directed by debutante Cibi Chakaravarthi, Don, will become only the second movie for Sivakarthikeyan to enter Rs. 100 crores worldwide gross club. It has grossed approx. 89 crores worldwide in just 10 days, including Rs. 69 crores at the domestic box office in both Tamil and Telugu languages. In Chennai city, Don has scored 6.15 crores, which is a fantastic result. Overseas, it has minted approx. 20 crores. ## The coming-of-age romantic comedy is one of the biggest grosser of 2022 in Tamil Nadu state. Directed by debutante Cibi Chakaravarthi, "Don" has proved the ever-growing fan following of Sivakarthikeyan, who has become a new sensation in the Tamil cinema. ## Produced by Lyca Productions, and Sivakarthikeyan Productions, "Don" scored Rs. 65.55 crores worldwide in the first week, which is the highest ever for Siva's movie. Domestically, the coming-of-age romantic comedy-drama film has grossed Rs. 52.55 crores, including Rs. 4.41 crores in Chennai city alone. ## "Don" took the opening of Rs. 9.30 crores net, biggest for Siva. Chennai, February 15 - Tamil star Sivakarthikeyan is gearing up for the release of his next big campus entertainer "Don", which is slated for March 25th release in theaters worldwide. ## Directed by Cibi Chakaravarthi, "Don" is produced by Allirajah Subaskaran of Lyca Productions in association with Sivakarthikeyan Productions. The movie also stars Priyanka Arul Mohan as the female lead opposite Sivakarthikeyan while S. J. Suryah, Samuthirakani, and Soori appear in pivotal roles. ## Meanwhile, "Don" will also release in the dubbed Telugu language simultaneously with the original Tamil version. Sivakarthikeyan's last film, "Doctor" received praises from the Telugu audiences and did business of around 3.50 crores in the dubbed version. In Tamil, "Doctor" was a blockbuster and grossed approx Rs. 75 crores in India. ## During the covid-19 pandemic, many regional films explored the other markets and have had a fair amount of success. Apart from "Don", Suriya's Tamil actioner "ET" will also have multilingual release, including the Telugu, and Hindi versions on March 10th.
