Earlier, the movie had an occasional limited re-release this year where it scored approximately 40 lakh gross collection. ## Apart from 2024, Veer-Zaara has had an occasional re-release from 2005-2023 during which it grossed 2.50 crores. Including the film's original run collection of approximately 97 crores gross globally, its total worldwide collection is now 101.75 crores approx, which includes 37 crores overseas gross.## Produced by Yash Raj Films, Veer-Zaara was originally released on November 12, 2024, on the occasion of Diwali and clashed with Akshay Kumar's Aitraaz. Mumbai, September 16 - As the re-release trend is picking up in Bollywood, the nostalgia factor is bringing the audience to the theatres to revisit some of the evergreen hits. Amid the success of a few re-releases, Yash Raj Film's Veer-Zaara returned to the big screen and scored well in the opening weekend. ## The 20-year-old epic romantic drama, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta, and Rani Mukerji, was re-released on September 13 on over 300 shows, which jumped to over 400 shows on Sunday after the positive response at the box office. ## The Yash Chopra's superhit directorial scored approximately 25 lakh gross collection on its opening day upon re-release. The movie witnessed an upward trend on the second day to score approximately 40 lakh gross, followed by another 45+ lakh on Sunday, for approximately 1.10+ crore gross (95 lakh net) opening weekend. ## Earlier in the year, Veer-Zaara had occasional re-releases on limited shows where it grossed approximately 40 lakh collection, and including the latest re-release, the movie has grossed around 1.50 crores this year (1.30 crores net). ## Veer-Zaara was a super hit at the box office in its original run with approximately 97 crores worldwide gross collection. After the re-release this year, the total collection is now around 98.50 crores. Mumbai, March 30 - After the super successful distribution in around 100 countries, Yash Raj Films is all set to release its mega-blockbuster Pathaan starring superstar Shah Rukh Khan, John Abraham, and Deepika Padukone in China, Japan, and Latin America. ## Pathaan, directed by Siddharth Anand, was released on January 25 this year and went on to cross approx. 1050 crores worldwide, becoming one of the biggest Indian blockbusters of all time. Now, YRF is planning for its wide release in China, which has emerged as a huge market for Hindi films over the years. ## YRF is releasing its social comedy-drama "Sui Dhaaga – Made In India" (2018) in China on March 31. The studio's "Hichki" (2018) starring Rani Mukerji was massively successful in China, grossing around $21 million. ## Apart from "Sui Dhaaga" and "Pathaan", YRF will also be releasing Rani Mukerji's "Mardaani 2" (2019) in China.
