Bengaluru, April 14 - Hombale Films, the studio behind one of the biggest blockbusters of the Indian cinema KGF: Chapter 2, has given a major hint for the film's third installment and in which timeline it will be set up. ## Hombale Films released a video celebrating the first anniversary of the Yash-fronted monster blockbuster. The video shared on social media features some of the biggest goosebumps moments from KGF: Chapter 2. At once, the video looked like the highlight of the film, but suddenly it gets interesting with a hint of 3rd film. ## At one point in the video, after Govinde Gowda, a peon at 24/News, urged Vijayendra Ingalagi (Prakash Raj) to preach only about incidents that were written in the book, the scenes from Rocky's death to finishing his enemies started getting reversed. ## We also know the KGF: Chapter 2 has left a time gap of 4 years (during which Rocky did many crimes in different countries) which many assumed to be the core plot of KGF: Chapter 3. Going by the video and the way the scenes were reversed, it is clear that the 3rd Chapter will be the prequel to Chapter 2. ## At the end of the video, the tagline "That promise will be kept", but "Was the promise kept?" leaves so many hints and confirms that there was so much in the story to explore which will be shown in the next film. It also means Yash will return as Rocky Bhai along with other characters and new ones. ## The makers recently revealed that KGF: Chapter 3 could start in 2025 and be released in 2026. Director Prashanth Neel is currently busy with Prabhas-fronted "Salaar", produced by Hombale Films. He will next direct Jr. NTR.
