Chiyaan Vikram's 'Cobra' Trimmed By 20 Minutes Upon Suggestions
While the movie opened with mixed positive reviews from critics and audiences, it was criticized for its lengthy run time. Upon the suggestions from film-goers, fans, media friends, distributors, and exhibitors, the makers decided to cut down the movie by 20 minutes to make it a more thrilling watch.
The producers took to Twitter and issued an official statement regarding the development.

Meanwhile, "Cobra" took an excellent opening at the domestic box office, grossing 20.4 crores in both Tamil and Telugu languages. It scored a fantastic 12.35 crores in Tamil Nadu. The opening day overseas collection is approx. 5 crores.
Directed by R. Ajay Gnanamuthu and produced by Seven Screen Studio, the movie stars Chiyaan Vikram in ten different looks and his performance is being praised by the audiences and critics. Srinidhi Shetty plays the female lead in her Tamil debut while former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan makes his acting debut with this movie.
