Hyderabad, April 6 — Telugu superstar Jr. NTR has confirmed his future film line-up during the success celebrations of Telugu comedy Mad Square, which featured his brother-in-law, Nithin, as one of the main leads. The RRR star was invited as the chief guest for the event, where he confirmed his next four films. ## It is known to all that Jr. NTR is presently shooting for Prashanth Neel's action drama, tentatively titled Dragon, along with his big Bollywood debut under Yash Raj Films, War 2, a spy action thriller which also stars Hrithik Roshan and is directed by Ayan Mukerji. ## Apart from the aforementioned films, the Telugu superstar reaffirmed Devara 2, to be directed by Koratala Siva, amid the endless rumours. The actor stressed that the second part of his 2024 hit will definitely be made, and the shoot for the same will start after Dragon. ## There have been rumours that Jr. NTR will team with Jailer director Nelson Dilipkumar for an action drama film. While the actor didn't mention the director's name, he confirmed a film with producer Naga Vamsi's Sithara Entertainment. The media reports have confirmed that the film in question will be directed by Nelson. ## As has been confirmed during the Mad Square success bash, Jr. NTR has at least 4 films lined up. War 2 is slated to hit the screens on August 14 this year, while Dragon is likely to release on Sankranthi 2026. Tokyo, December 26 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR's Devara - Part 1 is heading to the Japanese cinemas next year. Directed by Koratal Siva, the action drama was released on September 27 this year in India and internationally, grossing over 400 crores at the worldwide box office. ## According to the latest update, Devara will be released in Japan on March 28, 2025. The release is being handled by Twin, the same distributor behind Prabhas' Kalki 2898 AD, with ticket sales set to begin on January 3, 2025.## Jr. NTR has a big fan following in Japan, especially after the mega success of SS Rajamouli's directorial RRR, which also stars Ram Charan. Hyderabad, October 14 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR's action drama Devara: Part 1 defied mixed reviews to emerge as a big success at the worldwide box office, surpassing 400 crore gross collection.## Directed by Koratala Siva, the movie has minted approximately 401 crores which includes 324 crores gross at the domestic box office and an estimated 77 crores overseas through the third weekend (17 days). With this, it has become the second Telugu movie and the fourth Indian title of 2024 to achieve the feat. ## Devara is the second film of Jr. NTR to top 400 crores worldwide gross after RRR, also starring Ram Charan. Hyderabad, October 6 - Superstar Jr. NTR's action drama Devara: Part 1 has a fantastic second Sunday at the domestic box office as it crossed the double-digit collection with a good jump of around 30% from Saturday, completing a decent second weekend. ## As per the early estimates, Devara is expected to gross 8-9 crores collection in Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) with a jump of over 30%. In Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala, the movie is estimated to gross in the range of 2 crore with the majority of collections coming from Karnataka with good hold. ## Apart from the South Indian states, the Hindi belt continues to bring good collections for Devara. On its second Sunday, the gross collection of the movie is expected to be 4.25+ crores in the North India region while the Hindi-language collection is estimated to be 3.75-4 crores net. ## Overall, Devara is expected to gross in the range of 14-15 crores (12-13 crore net) on its second Sunday (10th day), per estimates. This takes its total domestic collection to 287+ crores (243 crores net) in 10 days. The movie maintained a decent hold on the crucial Monday before the holiday factor boosted the collection again on Tuesday and Wednesday. ## The movie concluded the first week with approximately 44 crore net collection in Hindi, including approximately 2 crore net on Thursday. This is a good collection for a dubbed version and sets up the stage nicely for the movie to finish with a healthy lifetime total.## Apart from Hindi, Devara has performed very well in the original Telugu language scoring approximately 164 crores net (190+ crores gross) while other South Indian versions have grossed approximately 8.50+ crores in the first week.
