Box Office: 'Devara: Part 1' First Tuesday (Day 5) Early Estimates
It is common for the movies to witness a drop during the weekdays, especially when word of mouth is mixed. But due to the national holiday benefit tomorrow, Devara witnessing a rock solid hold as early estimates suggest the collection in the range of 8-9 crores gross in Telugu states with a minor jump over Monday's collection.
Apart from AP-TG, the other Southern states are also witnessing a stronghold with a minor jump as collections are expected to be in the range of 2.50+ crores gross in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala on Tuesday. The chance of collection going further is also there depending on mass belts.
The Hindi belt is proving to be a surprise region for Devara as far as the box office outcome is concerned. After a good collection in the first 4 days, the movie is witnessing a jump on its 5th day as it is expected to gross in the range of 5-5.50 crores in the North India belt.
The dubbed Hindi version of Devara is expected to score 4-4.50 crores net while the all-India gross is estimated to be in the range of 15.50-16.50 crores (13.50 crores net) on Tuesday. This takes the total collection to around 220+ crores gross (187 crores net) domestically in 5 days, per estimates.
Devara is expected to see a big boost in collection on October 2nd due to the national holiday of Gandhi Jayanti. As the holiday period is approaching and the lack of competition, Devara is expected to remain decent to good in the coming days.
