Tom Hardy's 'Venom: The Last Dance' Theatrical Runtime Revealed

Mumbai, September 26 - Tom Hardy is the set for the Last Dance with his blockbuster anti-hero franchise Venom. The third and final film, titled Venom: The Last Dance is gearing up for the big screen debut on October 25 this year. ## As the movie is gearing up for release, the official runtime for the same has reportedly been revealed. According to the latest reports, the movie is set to be a nearly 2 hours long flick with a final runtime of around 1 hour and 50 minutes (110 minutes). ## Recently, two different theatre chains listed conflicting runtimes for Sony Pictures' upcoming blockbuster. As per The Direct, Odeon listed the threequel on its website with a 140-minute runtime (2 hours, 20 minutes) while Cineworld listed it with a runtime of 120 minutes (2 hours). ## However, it is believed that the final runtime of Venom 3 will be changed as the latest reports suggest. If the final runtime of the movie is indeed 1 hour and 50 minutes, it would be the second-longest film in the franchise, however, in the case of the other way around, it will be a record-breaking theatrical runtime for the franchise. ## The official runtimes for the previous four of Sony's Spider-Man Universe movies are as follows -## Venom (2018) - 112 minutes## Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021) - 97 minutes## Morbius (2022) - 104 minutes## Madame Web (2024) - 116 minutes## Venom: The Last Dance is directed by Kelly Marcel and it stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock and Venom alongside Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach, and Stephen Graham. Mumbai, September 20 - 20th Century Studios' sci-fi horror thriller Alien: Romulus has scripted a box office history to become the highest-grossing horror movie of all time in IMAX. ## Directed by Fede Álvarez, the 7th movie in the Alien franchise has so far grossed over $40 million in IMAX format since its debut in mid-August 2024, making it the biggest horror grosser in this premium format.## Alien: Romulus is going strong and recently crossed $300 million at the worldwide box office. The movie has so far grossed approximately $332 million, becoming the highest-grossing horror movie of the year. The film's production budget is $80 million. ## At the domestic (North American) box office, the movie has grossed $102 million while overseas collection stands at $230 million. James Cameron Sets His Next Directorial Other Than 'Avatar' Franchise

Mumbai, September 17 - James Cameron has been busy with the epic sci-fi Avatar franchise since 1997 and is currently directing the third instalment of this blockbuster franchise which is scheduled to hit the big screen on December 20, 2025. ## While there are, at least, two more Avatar films after Avatar 3, Cameron has set his next directorial project other than Avatar. According to Variety, the maverick filmmaker has purchased the rights to Charles Pellegrino's book "Ghosts of Hiroshima", which will be published by Blackstone Publishing in August 2025.## Cameron will combine and adapt Ghosts and Pellegrino's 2015 book Last Train From Hiroshima into a single film, which he will shoot when Avatar production allows. ## The filmmaker's new film will be titled, Last Train from Hiroshima which will tell the true story of a Japanese man during World War II who survived two atomic bombings: after living through the explosion in Hiroshima, he took a train to Nagasaki, enduring another blast there. ## It will be Cameron's first non-Avatar movie in more than 2 and a half decades as a director since he directed Titanic in 1997. Before Titanic, which is the 4th highest-grossing film of all time, Cameron directed six movies after making his directorial debut in 1982 with Piranha II: The Spawning. ## Cameron has been a box office monster as his last three directed films went on to gross over $2 billion each globally and are currently among the 4 highest-grossing movies of all time with Avatar being the biggest grosser ($2.92 billion). Warner Bros. 'Joker 2' Box Office Projection Revealed

Los Angeles, September 12 - Warner Bros. Pictures' sequel to the 2019 psychological thriller Joker is hitting theatres this October and it seems the hype is fading away after the recent screening where the movie received average reviews. ## As for the box office, the Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga-led Joker: Folie à Deux is tracking to open less than its predecessor at the domestic box office. According to Deadline, the blockbuster sequel is projected to open with $70 million - $80 million in its domestic (North America) opening weekend. ## If Joker 2 opens to the projected lines, it would be $26 million less than Joker which scored $96.2 million in the domestic weekend, as per Box Office Mojo. A couple of weeks ago, the movie was projected to open with $100+ million, which is now looking difficult, per the latest projection. ## Joker 2 currently has a 62% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes, which, interestingly, is similar to the original movie after its Venice and TIFF premiere. So there is a possibility the sequel might follow the same path at the box office as well, but as of now, it looks a far cry. ## Directed by Todd Phillips, Joker was a monster hit for Warner Bros. with $1.08 billion at the worldwide box office, including $335.5 million domestically. Los Angeles, September 10 - Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios' much-anticipated Spider-Man 4 is officially in development and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton has been handed over duty to direct it, per The Hollywood Reporter.## Amid the speculation of who would take up the role to direct one of the biggest Hollywood films in the making, Cretton is set to lend the job. The filmmaker will bring fresh blood to this iteration of Spider-Man. Tom Holland will return to reprise his role as the web-slinger in the upcoming film. ## Destin Daniel Cretton will be the fourth director to direct a Spider-Man movie. Earlier, Jon Watts directed the previous three Holland-starring movies, while Marc Webb helmed the two Amazing Spider-Man movies that starred Andrew Garfield. Sam Raimi directed the trilogy that featured Tobey Maguire. ## The production of Spider-Man will commence in early 2025, and according to rumours, it will be released in July 2026, a couple of months after Avengers: Doomsday, which will be directed by the Russo Brothers. Mumbai, August 29 - Universal Pictures has officially revealed the title and the first of the new Jurassic World film, led by Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, and Mahershala Ali. It is the seventh film in the 31-year-old science fiction action franchise. ## On Thursday (August 29), Universal Pictures announced on social media the new Jurrasic World movie has been titled Jurassic World Rebirth and it will debut in theatres on 2 July 2025. Gareth Edwards ("Rogue One: A Star Wars Story") is directing the film. ## The official synopsis of the movie states, "The film will be set five years following the events of Jurassic World Dominion (2022) when "the planet's ecology has proven largely inhospitable to dinosaurs. Pictures' Joker. ## Starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in the titular roles, Deadpool & Wolverine has earned $1.08+ billion globally so far, which takes it past Joker which had grossed $1.07 billion in its lifetime run. These two are the only R-rated movies to top $1 billion worldwide.## As reported earlier, Deadpool 3 is the first Disney-released Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie since Avengers: Endgame in 2019 to top $1 billion globally, and, it is also the first R-rated movie released by Disney. Mumbai, August 14 - Disney's animated blockbuster Frozen III will make its big screen debut in November 2027. ## Walt Disney Animation's chief creative officer Jennifer Lee announced on Wednesday at D23 that the third installment of the musical fantasy franchise will be released on November 24, 2027, according to the report by The Hollywood Reporter.## Frozen 3 was originally scheduled for a 2026 release but the production is getting delayed due to various reasons which made Disney push the film to the Thanksgiving weekend in 2027. Marvel Studios Scrapped Plans For 'Eternals 2'

Mumbai, August 14 - Marvel Studios has reportedly scrapped plans to develop Eternals 2 after the first movie didn't do well at the box office. The movie was directed by Chloé Zhao and introduced new superheroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.## While the ending (hailed as one of the best in the MCU) of Eternals suggested the character would return in the sequel, Marvel boss Kevin Feige recently said that there are no immediate plans to make Eternals 2 and now, as per Variety, the studio has dropped plans to develop it.## The news of scrapping Eternals 2 comes from Variety reporting on actor Kit Harington discussing his MCU role. Mumbai, August 10 - Maverick filmmaker James Cameron's sci-fi epic Avatar 3 has unveiled its official title on Friday during the D23 expo. The first two movies in the franchise have already been etched in the history books with monstrous box office performances.## During the D23 event, James Cameron along with stars Zoe Saldaña and Sam Worthington revealed that the third Avatar blockbuster will be titled Avatar: Fire and Ash, setting the stage for the things unfold in Pandora. ## "You'll see a lot more pandora that you never saw before. It's an insane adventure and a feast for the eyes, but it's also got very high emotional stakes, more than ever before. Mumbai, August 1 - Disney's Pixar blockbuster Inside Out 2 has cracked the all-time top 10 highest-grossing movies at the worldwide box office, after outgrossing Marvel Studios/Disney's The Avengers through 8th Wednesday. ## The coming-of-age film animated tentpole has topped $1.524 billion (12765 crores) after the 8th Wednesday and has crossed The Avengers's $1.523 billion to become the 10th highest-grossing film ever at the global box office.## Directed by Kelsey Mann in his feature directorial debut, Inside Out 2 has grossed $618.7 million (5180 crores) in North America while the overseas collection is $905.3 million (7585 crores). It is already the highest-grossing animated movie worldwide. ## Mexico is the biggest international market for IO2 with $100.5 million, followed by Brazil where it has become the highest-grossing movie ever with $77.3 million. The UK is the third biggest with $65 million while Korea ($58 million) and France ($55.6 million) are at the 4th and 5th spot.## Inside Out 2 was released on June 12 internationally before debuting in North America on June 14. It scored $295 million in its worldwide opening weekend which is the biggest for an animated movie ever. Robert Downey Jr. And Russo Brothers' Mega Paydays For Next Avengers Movies Revealed

Mumbai, July 30 - Marvel Studios shocked the entertainment fraternity when it announced the much-talked-about comeback of Robert Downey Jr. in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to headline the next Avengers movies along with the director duo of Russo Brothers (Joe Russo and Anthony Russo) at the San Diego Comic-Con event recently.## Unlike what people might have thought Downey Jr. would make a comeback as Iron Man, the superhero character he has donned over the years since the inception of the MCU, the actor has been tasked to play the villainous Doctor Doom this time around.## Though the casting of Downey Jr. has garnered a mixed reception no one can deny the fact that it, along with Russos' directorial MCU comeback only gonna benefit Marvel big time just like the old days when they used to help Marvel print money at the box office like the back of hand. This, however, will cost Marvel way more than what it used to pay the Iron Man star and Russos in the past.## According to Variety, the Kavin Fiege-owned Marvel will sign a $80 million paycheck for Anthony and Joe Russo to direct Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars and significantly more for Robert Downey Jr. to tackle uber-villain Doctor Doom in the two tentpoles. ## The report further revealed that the Russos' deal with the studio doesn't include back-end compensation, but it does contain performance escalators that kick in at the $750 million and $1 billion thresholds. It is to be noted that the director duo is also producing the upcoming Avengers movies under their banner AGBO.## Downey Jr. has been by far the biggest paid member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Variety reports that the actor has earned between $500 million and $600 million for playing Iron Man. For the upcoming Avengers movies, the actor will get the perks that include private jet travel, dedicated security and a whole trailer encampment, other than his massive undisclosed payday, which is, as said above, way more than Russos.## Avengers Doomsday and Avengers Secret Wars are scheduled to be released in May 2026, and May 2027, respectively.
