D54: Dhanush Teams Up With Director Vignesh Raja For His Next Film; Cast and Crew Details Revealed

Chennai, July 11 - National-award-winning actor Dhanush has kicked off his next film, tentatively called D54, with director Vignesh Raja, who is best known for his work in the superhit movie "Por Thozhil" (2023). ## The film, produced by Vels Film International, was announced on Thursday (July 10) with a traditional pooja ceremony attended by the main team, including Dhanush, producer Dr. Ishari K. Ganesh, and director Vignesh Raja. ## The D54 is said to be a high-octane action entertainer, and the shoot for the same has also begun. It is the 44th film of Suriya and on Wednesday, the makers announced its official title as Retro with the teaser.## The teaser reveals Suriya as a Southern Tamil Nadu native with a gang mafia as a family business while Pooja Hegde plays his love interest.
