Thalapathy Vijay's 'The GOAT' Budget Is 400 Crore, Reveals Producers
Chennai, September 1 - Thalapathy Vijay's action thriller The Greatest of All Time, which is the actor's penultimate movie before his political entry, is turning out to be one of the costliest Indian films ever. The movie is produced by AGS Entertainment and directed by Venkat Prabhu.



Scheduled to be released on September 5, The GOAT is easily the most anticipated Tamil movie of the year and CEO of AGS Entertainment, Archana Kalpathi revealed in a recent interview that the film's budget is close to 400 crores which is massive.



The 400 crore budget of the film includes Thalapathy Vijay's remuneration which is said to be 200 crore, making him one of the most paid Indian actors. The producers also revealed that they are already on the profit side after scoring huge deals for theatrical, streaming, and satellite rights.



The GOAT stars Thalapathy Vijay in dual roles as a father and a son, alongside Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Mohan, Ajmal Ameer, Jayaram, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Vaibhav, Yogi Babu, Premgi Amaren, and Yugendran in key roles.



The film follows Gandhi, the former leader of a special anti-terrorist squad, who reconciles with his squad members to address the problems which were stemmed from their previous actions. It is scheduled to be released on September 5 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, and Kannada, languages.
