Raj B. Shetty's Blockbuster 'Su From So' Hits A Major Milestone For Kannada Cinema

Bengaluru, August 2 - The box office throws another surprise and brings a major milestone for Kannada cinema, which has had a poor year so far. Actor-producer Raj B. Shetty's comedy drama Su From So has surprised one and all by emerging as a box office blockbuster. ## Directed by J. P. Thuminad, Su From So was released on July 25, and despite the limited expectations, the movie has crossed 30 crores gross collection at the domestic box office and is heading towards the 50 crores mark. It is already the highest-grossing Kannada movie of the year, which also indicates how poorly Kannada films have fared this year. ## While the movie continues to march along, it has become the first original Kannada movie of the year and first since August 2023 to sell 1+ million tickets on the online ticketing platform Book My Show.
