Box Office: 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' Outgrossed Combined Total of 'Double iSmart' and 'Mr. Bachchan' In 3 Days

Hyderabad, August 31 - Natural star Nani's action thriller Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is heading towards emerging as a box-office success after a good first three days. It comes as a needed breather for the Telugu film industry after the disastrous Independence Day week releases.## Directed by Vivek Athreya, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram had a good first 2 days with a worldwide box collection of approximately 28.50 crores gross, including approximately 17.50 crores domestically. The movie is having a very good first Saturday (3rd day), expected to be around 10 crore gross domestically.## The movie is heading towards 43+ crores worldwide gross after the 3rd day, and this is one of the biggest opening weekends for a Telugu title of 2024. Interestingly, it has outgrossed the combined total of Independence Day Telugu releases, Double iSmart and Mr. Bachchan. ## The Ram Pothineni-fronted Double iSmart has grossed only 20 crores so far while Ravi Teja's Mr. Bachchan has made only 14 crores worldwide. Both films have almost completed their run at the box office with a disastrous combined total of 34 crores which has been outgrossed by Nani-starrer in just 3 days. ## Saripodhaa Sanivaaram needs to score a gross collection of around 70 crores at the worldwide box office to emerge as a hit. Ram Pothineni's 'Double iSmart' Worldwide Theatrical Business Details

Hyderabad, August 14 - Telugu star Ram Pothineni's much-awaited sci-fi action drama film Double iSmart is finally hitting the big screen on August 15 and the movie is looking to make big at the box office during the long holiday weekend due to Independence Day and Raksha Bandhan.## Directed by Puri Jagannadh and also starring Sanjay Dutt and Kavya Thapar, Double iSmart has managed to fetch record theatrical business for Ram Pothineni-starrer. According to T2BLive, the sequel's worldwide theatrical business has been valued at 48 crores and it will need to score around 80 crores gross to emerge as a box office hit.## In Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana), the theatrical rights of Double iSmart have been locked at 39 crores, including 15.50 crores for the Nizam area, 6 crores for Ceeded and 17.50 crores for Andhra regions. Ram Pothineni's 'Double iSmart' Censor Details With Theatrical Runtime Revealed

Hyderabad, August 8 - Actor Ram Pothineni and director Puri Jagannadh reunited for the sequel to their blockbuster movie iSmart Shankar. Scheduled to be released on August 15, Double iSmart also features Sanjay Dutt in his Telugu debut and Kavya Thapar in prominent roles.## Double iSmart is an important movie for both Ram Pothineni and Puri Jagannadh and they seem to have gone all out for this mass entertainer just like the first part. Director Boyapati Srinu Confirms His Next Two Films With Superstar Allu Arjun and Suriya

Hyderabad, October 7 - Telugu mass filmmaker, Boyapati Srinu scored a massive hit with Nandamuri Balakrishna in the form of "Akhanda" in 2021. However, the director couldn't repeat the same success with his next movie "Skanda" with Ram Pothineni. The movie is currently playing in theatres and heading towards being an average affair at the box office.## Despite being unable to repeat "Akhanda's" success with "Skanda", Boyapati remains in hot demand as he has confirmed his next three films. During a recent media interaction, the ultra mass director confirmed that he would be teaming up with Telugu superstar Allu Arjun and Tamil star Suriya for his next two films.## It is not yet clear which film he will take first. Allu Arjun is currently shooting for "Pushpa 2", and he will next be reuniting with Trivikram Srinivas and then also has an announced film with Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Box Office: 'Skanda' Scored Biggest Opening For Actor Ram Pothineni

Hyderabad, September 29 - Telugu star Ram Pothineni and director Boyapati Sreenu's maiden collaboration Skanda has had a very good start at the domestic as well as the worldwide box office. The movie eventually scored the biggest opening for the actor, beating the previous record-holder "iSmart Shankar". ## The action drama film scored 14.50 crores gross on domestic opening day, including 13.50 crores gross in two Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana). The AP-TG share collection of the movie is 8.62 crores, which is the highest for Ram Pothineni. "iSmart Shankar" had approximately 7.70 crores AP-TG share collection.## The AP-TG opening of "Skanda" is the 4th biggest among tier-2 Telugu actors, after "Dasara", "Kushi", and "Liger". Overseas, "Skanda" grossed approximately 2 crores for 16.50 crores worldwide on opening day. "iSmart Shankar" was the previous biggest worldwide opener for the actor with approximately 13 crores gross collection.## The movie has decent audience word of mouth while critics' reviews are mixed. The weekend will be crucial for the movie as it needs to gross around 75 crores worldwide to break even and emerge as a box office hit.
