Ram Pothineni's 'Double iSmart' Release Date Locked

Produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmy Kaur under the banner of Puri Connects, Double iSmart has been locked to release on August 15 on the Independence Day after Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 - The Rule believed to have been postponed.

The sci-fi action drama was initially announced for a March 2024 release but due to the delay in the shooting, the movie stood postponed and will now be hitting cinemas this Independence Day week. The movie will be released in multiple languages, including Hindi in which it will be up against three straight Bollywood movies - Stree 2, Khel Khel Mein, and Vedaa.

As for the shooting of Double iSmart, it is said that except for three songs, the film has finished shooting. Two songs will be shot in Hyderabad and one in Goa soon. Mani Sharma is on board to compose the music.
