Vivek Agnihotri Renames 'The Delhi Files' To 'The Bengal Files'; Announces New Release Date

Mumbai, June 10 - Filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri has renamed his upcoming film The Delhi Files: The Bengal Chapter on public demand. The political drama has now been titled as The Bengal Files: Right To Life, which is the third film in Agnihotri's Files trilogy after The Tashkent Files (2019) and The Kashmir Files (2022). ## Taking to social media on Tuesday, Agnihotri shared the new title along with a poster of the film, which examines the horrific communal violence that took place in undivided Bengal during the 1940s. The filmmaker announced that the teaser of the movie will be out on June 5, while the film will hit the big screen on September 5 this year. ## The Bengal Files: Right To Life delves into historical events such as the Direct Action Day and the Noakhali riots. Agnihotri has described these incidents as a "Hindu genocide" and expressed his intent to bring to light a largely neglected chapter of Indian history. Sunny Deol's 'Border 2' Officially Announced

Mumbai, June 13 - Filmmaker J. P. Dutta has joined hands with producer Bhushan Kumar of T-Series to announce the sequel to War epic Border. The movie was announced on the 27th anniversary of the first movie which is one of the biggest Indian blockbusters ever. ## Sunny Deol, who scored a mega-blockbuster with Gadar 2 last year, will be returning to reprise his role as Maj. Mumbai, April 11 - Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri's all-time blockbuster, "The Kashmir Files" has stormed past the 250 crores net mark and becomes the 13th biggest Hindi grosser of all time. The hard-hitting drama movie, based on true facts, took 32 days to reach the box office milestone. ## "The Kashmir Files" box office run so far has been phenomenal as no one had thought this film would reach this far. It opened with a decent 3.55 crores, but once the public opinion was out, it became unstoppable. The demand for the tickets was such a huge that it even knocked down Prabhas-starrer "Radhe Shyam", and Akshay Kumar's "Bachchhan Paandey" a week later. ## Produced by Abhishek Agarwal in association with Zee Studios and I Am Buddha, TKF's box office run is slowing down with new releases taking the charge, but it has accomplished its job, in fact, it has crossed even the highest of expectations trade had before the release. Mumbai, March 21 - Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri's "The Kashmir Files" has hit the double century mark at the worldwide box office, becoming the first Indian film of 2022 to achieve the feet. ## Based on the exodus of the Kashmiri Pandits, TKF has achieved the box office milestone in just 10 days, which is an extraordinary feat for a low-budget film.
