Road Dogg: WWE Made The Right Call By Waiting To Turn Roman Reigns Heel
The impressive transformation of Roman Reigns' character over the years has been much documented. He went from being a rather uninspiring babyface to becoming one of the most stunning heels in the WWE. However, some now argue that WWE might have waited too long to turn Reigns into a villain. ## During his babyface run, Roman Reigns received criticism from both fans and fellow wrestlers, despite participating in high-profile matches against top talent. ## The decision to eventually turn Roman Reigns heel is widely regarded as one of the best moves made by WWE in the past decade. Nevertheless, there are those who feel that the company could have made this change earlier, particularly as far back as 2015. ## In the latest episode of Oh...You Didn't Know, Road Dogg shared his thoughts on Roman Reigns' growth in WWE. According to him, he believes that the company should not have turned Reigns into a villain any sooner than they did. ## “No, I don’t think so. You gotta let stuff sit, you gotta let stuff simmer. I know that’s unpopular in today’s day and age, where I can get whatever I want, and I can get it right now. Sometimes you gotta sit on this, and see which way the wind blows. Boy, it blew in the right direction, because look [at] where we stand now, and where he stands now — as an individual and superstar. ## People hated him, they hated him. They hate him now, and yet everybody in the soldout arena, of which there are a lot of them now, acknowledges him on the weekly. They listen to his every word, they are hanging on his every word, and every facial [expression] in these in-ring promos.” ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.
