The September 21st edition of AEW Dynamite (Grand Slam) crowned the new AEW World Champion! ## In the main Bryan Danielson battled Jon Moxley in the Tournament of Champions final to crown a new world champion. MJF was seen watching the match in a luxury box with his casino chip. ## The match went back and forth with the business of various submission holds and nearfalls. In the end, the two landed on the ramp and Moxley hit Bryan with the Death Rider. ## Bryan rolls into the ring and Moxley puts on a sleeper submission. Guevara came out to a new anime-themed entrance video. Kingston ended up making Guevara tap out for the win. However, Kingston would not stop choking Guevara after the bell, so the referee overturned the result, and Guevara was named the winner. Kingston snapped and attacked security after the match. Rose opens up about her character, stating that she's not as arrogant as a real-life wrestling character in NXT.## "That's definitely not me. I'm actually very much the most selfless person. I do a lot for others. I'm very humble. I'm very down to earth. I think that's kind of the biggest takeaway with me when people meet me is that sometimes they look at me as a whole and they see this persona, and the way I present myself, and my looks and all that, and, you know, you can't judge a book by its cover."## She also explained what her thoughts were when she was sent back from the main roster to NXT:## "I didn't even know why I was going to NXT. I'm a firm believer at the end of the day, I looked at it as an opportunity as a new way to kind of rebrand myself. I think we all need to change as we develop and grow. I think for me, it was just a huge opportunity to use this as something that could be really cool. I didn't look at any of the negatives. I think that was a big part of it for me. I think a lot of people if they were to get the call to go back to NXT, they would ask a million questions. They'd be like, why, and it's normal, obviously. But I just literally, I took that call, and I said, 'Okay, sure.' This year's event is set to turn into Survivor Series WarGames, which will mark WWE's first main roster event. A major change occurred after Triple H replaced Vince McMahon as the head of WWE. ## On September 19, 2022, Triple H announced that the 2022 event would feature two WarGames matches, one each for men and women, that would not be based on the "brand versus brand" concept. This is the first time a WarGames match has been featured in a main roster WWE event. ## The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. Update On Whether AEW rankings Even Exist

Later that night, he again attempted to cash in his Money in the Bank contract during the main event, only to be knocked out by Tyson Fury before officially doing so. ## Speaking with Radio Rahim during a press conference in Las Vegas, Roman credited Tyson Fury for doing a solid job by dismantling Theory, despite Roman feeling Fury was a bit overzealous in his behavior. ## "Well, he did a solid," said Roman. "I think he was lost in the match along with everybody else that was in that stadium. He saw a guy like Austin Theory running down there, trying to interrupt this great battle that was taking place in front of them, and he pulled the trigger and stopped it himself. So I think that was just him being a huge fan in the moment and not wanting that moment to be ruined by some dummy like Theory. ## He just stepped in, intervened, and he allowed it to play out like a champion would want it to be seen. For the past one week, WWE was hinting at a feud between Roman Reigns and Logan Paul. This happened after Reigns appeared on Paul's Impulsive podcast. The match was more or less confirmed on SmackDown last week. Some fans have wondered why WWE is holding this match after Logan Paul announced that he would be challenging Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Title.## Paul has a huge following on social media and the match is expected to attract some non-wrestling fans, but the reason why this match is happening has more to do with Saudi Arabia. Dave Meltzer revealed all about it on the "Sunday Nights Main Event" show on TSN Radio.## "He's a big deal in Saudi Arabia," Meltzer said. "He's a big deal to the Saudi Arabian prince and that's the whole thing of these shows."## Meltzer added that this show has nothing to do with selling tickets because it's a sold show. He said, "Nothing to do with that. Tickets in Saudi Arabia mean nothing. It's not even part of the game. Of course, TV numbers whatever. If he draws younger viewers, that's good but it's not a play for TV ratings. It is a play because the prince wants celebrity fights in Saudi Arabia to build the name in the media of Saudi Arabia and Logan Paul will get more of the type of press that Saudi Arabia is looking for than Kevin Owens or Seth Rollins."## Meltzer continued, "That's what Saudi Arabia is there for.
