Ajay Devgn's 'Raid 2' Gets A New Release Date

Raid 2, which is the sequel to Raid (2018), will be hitting worldwide theaters on February 21, 2025. It was supposed to be released on November 15 this year but due to another film of Ajay scheduled to be released in November in the form of Singham Again, the makers have pushed Raid 2 back by nearly 4 months.

Just like the first movie, Raid 2 is also based on true incidents. Ajay Devgn returns to reprise his role as IRS officer Amay Patnaik, who tracks another white-collar crime. Riteish Deshmukh plays the antagonist role while Vaani is the female lead and both are the new addition to the cast.

Raid 2 is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak under the banners of T-Series and Panorama Studios. While the official plot details are not known yet, it is said that the story of the film is based on real-life events of a businessman fooling the Income Tax Department for Rs. 100 crore.
