Akshay Kumar's First Look As Lord Shiva In 'Kannappa' Revealed
Mumbai, January 20 - Vishnu Manchu-fronted epic Kannappa is one of the biggest-budget films in the making. Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, this Telugu Pan India film features some of the biggest stars of Indian cinema in cameo roles.



Scheduled for a grand release on April 25 in multiple languages, the makers of the film have unveiled a striking poster featuring Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar as Lord Shiva. The actor perfectly embodies the divine character which is gaining attention.



"Stepping into the sacred aura of Mahadev for #Kannappa🏹. Honoured to bring this epic tale to life. May Lord Shiva guide us on this divine journey. Om Namah Shivaya", Akshay wrote on X while sharing the first-look poster.



Produced by AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory, Kannappa also stars Mohan Babu, R. Sarathkumar, Kaushal Manda, Rahul Madhav, Devaraj, Mukesh Rishi, Brahmanandam,[5] Raghu Babu, Preity Mukhundhan and Madhoo play supporting roles, alongside Mohanlal, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar (his Telugu film debut) and Kajal Aggarwal in cameo appearances.



The film is scheduled to be released on April 25, 2025, in multiple languages.
