Akshay Kumar's 'Sarfira' Is The Most Anticipated New Movie On IMDb

Mumbai, July 9 - The anticipation for Akshay Kumar's drama film Sarfira is soaring as the release date is getting nearer. The movie, which is the remake of the Tamil movie Soorarai Pottru, is directed by Sudha Kongara who also directed the original title.
Sarfira is the most anticipated new Indian movie on IMDb, much ahead of Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 which is the sequel to acclaimed and successful film, Indian (1996). As per IMDb's real-time popularity, Sarfira has over 27% page views share, followed by Bad Newz (14%), and Indian 2 (13%) which is also releasing on July 12.
The trailer of Sarfira, which was launched recently, may have a positive impact on the film's anticipation along with songs which have been well received. It will be interesting to see how the anticipation shows up at the box office, but the movie certainly looks like a decent opener, something which was not looking possible a few weeks ago.
Produced by Abundantia Entertainment, 2D Entertainment, and Cape Of Good Films, Sarfira follows a man who sets out to make affordable airlines for low-income people, which several enemies try to impede. It also stars Radhika Madan, Paresh Rawal, and Seema Biswas with Suriya in the cameo role.
Sarfira is scheduled to be released on July 12.
