Akshay Kumar's 'Selfiee' Theatrical Release Date Announced

Mumbai, December 13 - It hasn't been a great year for Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar on the work front. The actor had 4 theatrical releases this year but none of them could enter the 100 crores club which used to be a cakewalk for Akshay before the covid-19 pandemic.

On Tuesday, Akshay Kumar took to Twitter and shared a new still from a song he is currently shooting for the movie "Selfiee", and also confirmed the release date. "My mantra for today - Garmi, humidity aur faux fur... Sab chalega, bas kaam kar, kaam kar. Shooting a mast new song for #Selfiee. See you in cinemas, February 24", he said.

Produced by Dharma Productions, Prithviraj Productions, Magic Frames & Cape of Good Films, "Selfiee" is based on the Malayalam film "Driving Licence". The movie will feature Nushrratt Bharuccha and Diana Penty in the female lead roles.
