Amazon Prime Video's Much-Awaited 'Panchayat 3' Release Date Revealed
Mumbai, May 2 - Amazon Prime Video's hugely popular comedy-drama series Panchayat is returning with its third season. The streamer recently shared some behind-the-scenes pictures, featuring the lead actor Jitendra Kumar, which indicated that the show was going to stream soon.
Set against the backdrop of rural India, the first two seasons of Panchayat were a huge hit for Prime Video, and the audience is keen to know when Panchayat 3 will start streaming. Well, the streamer has put the end to rest and confirmed that the third season of the show will stream on May 28.



Starring Jitendra Kumar as Abhishek Tripathi, Panchayat Secretary, the series deals with his experiences, unfamiliar with village cultures, who on completing his degree gets a low-salary position as a secretary of a Gram panchayat in a remote village called Phulera in Uttar Pradesh.



The first two seasons of the show were hailed for providing high quality neat and clean entertainment to the audiences and the same is expected from the third season. The first season premiered in April 2020, followed by season 2 in May 2022. The primary language of the show is Hindi and it was also made available in the dubbed Tamil and Telugu versions.



Written by Chandan Kumar and directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, the show features Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav, Neena Gupta, Sanvikaa, Chandan Roy, Durgesh Kumar, Ashok Pathak, Faisal Malik, and Sunita Rajwar.
