Assam TET is conducted by the Department of School Education, which is also known as the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), of the State Government of Assam.

Assam TET is the deciding factor for the recruitment of teachers in the government as well as private schools of Assam.

Candidates who are looking forward to a career as a teacher in any government or private school of Assam have to appear for this exam.

Assam TET 2019 is being conducted after a gap of seven years.

The exam is for recruiting teachers for the lower primary and upper primary classes in schools.

The lower primary category includes classes from 1 to 5 whereas the upper primary category pertains to the classes 6th, 7th, and 8th.

The Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhijan (RMSA) is the body responsible for Assam TET 2019.

Step 11. Take a print out of the form for future reference.
