Ayushmann Khurrana's 'Doctor G' Gets A New Release Date In Theaters

Ayushmann took to Twitter and announced the new release date along with the first-look poster. "ZindaGi hai inki full of Googly 🥲 Chahiye tha Orthopedics, par ban gaye DoctorG 🧑🏻‍⚕️ #DoctorG will attend to you in theatres from 14th October!", he wrote.

Ayushmann Khurrana plays Dr. Uday Gupta while Rakul Preet will be seen as a medical student Dr. Fatima Duggal in the film that also stars Shefali Shah as Dr. Nandini and Sheeba Chaddha in key roles. "Doctor G" is produced by Junglee Pictures.

The movie is written by Sumit Saxena, Vishal Wagh, and Saurabh Bharat, who interestingly is a doctor-turned-writer and has drawn inspiration from his medical college life experiences. Saxena, who has written films like "Pyaar Ka Punchnama" and Karan Johar's "Lust Stories", has also penned the dialogues of "Doctor G".
