Box Office Disaster 'Kanguva' Sets Streaming Release Date

With not getting much at the box office, the makers have now announced the streaming release date of the film in South Indian versions in the hope of a turnaround. The South Indian versions - Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video on December 8.

The theatrical window of the film is just 21 days which is the lowest for a Pan India movie and an indication of how badly the film performed at the box office. However, as has been seen in past movies, the box office disasters have also failed to generate viewership on OTT as well.

The movie is produced by Studio Green in association with UV Creations. Also starring Bobby Deol and Disha Patani, it will be interesting to see how much the film makes an impact on the digital release after not having much to say with the box office numbers.
