Box Office Update: War Crosses 100 Cr

Bollywood biggie War is showing superb trending during the weekdays in the extended opening weekend. On Friday (October 4), it earned 22.45 Cr India net including 21.30 Cr from the Hindi version and crossed 100 Cr (100.15 Cr) India net in just three days for all languages. However, this film witnessed a minor decline of 7.80% from Thursday on which it earned 24.35 Cr India net.

On the other hand, Tollywood multi-starrar Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is slowing down a bit despite got good reviews from the moviegoers. On its 4th day, this film earned 13 Cr India net including 11.95 Cr from Telugu version. However, with positive reviews by its side, it should gather the momentum back on Saturday and Sunday and will look to finish the opening weekend on high.

Most importantly, War, which has had good first three days, is eying on 160+ Cr in the opening weekend. Going with the current trend with no big movies to compete, War will jump on Saturday and Sunday and will look to earn 60 Cr India net on both days.

Just FYI, after receiving positive reviews from the audience, around 150-200 more shows are added for War from Saturday.

Being a big-budgeted film, the expectations were high from Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrar and it is not disappointing the makers by any means. The buzz was strong around this film since the trailer had released. Both Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff are sharing the screen for the first.
