CSA Awards 2018 - Rabada takes top honours

South Africa's speedster Kagiso Rabada was the star in Cricket South Africa's annual awards ceremony held in Johannesburg on Saturday evening June 2. Second time in a row Rabada scooped major awards.



He had an excellent last year and therefore he rewarded for his top performances. He grabbed as many six awards including 'Cricketer of the year' in Men's category while Dane van Niekerk grabbed 'Women's cricketer of the year'.



"It is encouraging that for the second time in a row our premier awards have gone to our young stars who are shining with distinction alongside our world-class senior players," said CSA's acting chief executive Thabang Moroe

AB de Villiers, who recently retired from the international cricket grabbed the International T20 Cricketer of the Year while David Miller received Always Original Awards for the fastest T20 international century. Aiden Markram who had an excellent last year grabbed the International Newcomer of the Year Award.



On the domestic front, most numbers of awards were taken by the Titans who won both Sunfoil Series and Ram-Slam T20 tournament.

He made it pretty evident to his and Shehnaaz's fans as well after he recently silenced a photographer for questioning the quality of a video shot on Shehnaaz's phone.## The photographer shared a video uploaded by Shehnaaz on her social media account and wrote, "Honestly a very cute effort by #shehnaazgill but wish it was shot on a better phone". In the video, Shehnaz Gill can be seen dancing on Selena Gomez's recently released song "Baila Conmigo".## However, Sidharth didn't like what the photographer said about her phone quality. This made Sidharth come to her rescue.
