Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan's 'Acharya' To Release On April 1st, 2022

Hyderabad, January 16 - Megastar Chiranjeevi, and Ram Charan's much-awaited "Acharya" has been postponed to April 1st, 2022 due to the 3rd covid-19 wave. The makers had announced the postponement of "Acharya" on January 15, and a day later, the action thriller gets a new release date on April 1st. It was supposed to release on February 4.



The April 1st release of "Acharya" means Mahesh Babu's "Sarkaru Vaaru Paata" will be postponed as speculated earlier. SVP, which is currently slated for April 1st, is yet to be completed and is unlikely to meet the April 1st deadline. It was recently reported that the makers now looking for an August 5, 2022, release for this mega-budget film.



"Acharya", meanwhile, has already been postponed multiple times. It was originally slated for April 29, 2021, release, but was postponed to February 2022. Pooja Hegde and Kajal Aggarwal play the female leads opposite Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi, respectively while Sonu Sood also plays an important role.



"Acharya" is directed by Koratala Siva, and produced by Konidela Production Company, and Matinee Entertainments.
