Director Lokesh Kanagaraj Seemingly Confirms Aamir Khan's Role In Much-Awaited Rajinikanth-Starrer 'Coolie'

The cameo role of Aamir Khan in Coolie has been confirmed by multiple sources though the makers never made it official. On the actor's 60th birthday today, director Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is also celebrating his 39th birthday today, shared a fresh picture of him with the actor wishing him his birthday.

While the filmmaker didn't directly confirm Aamir's presence, he has given enough hints in his post to make things official. "Wishing you a very happy birthday #AamirKhan sir. Very grateful for the lovely conversations we've had. Your insights and passion for storytelling have always left me inspired. Here's to creating more magic on screen in the coming years and excited to share this special day with you, sir", Loki said in the post shared on X.

Produced by Sun Pictures, Coolie is easily one of the biggest Indian films in the making and the presence of Aamir with the entire creative combination will surely give the film an opening in Hindi. The movie also stars Nagarjuna, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, Shruti Haasan, Reba Monica John, Junior MGR and Monisha Blessy in key roles.
