Director Priyadarshan Officially Announces 'Haiwaan' With Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan
Mumbai, July 15 - Director Priyadarshan has broken the ice and officially announced his next film, titled Haiwaan, featuring Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan. The news about the movie was already out in the media, and without delaying it further, the filmmaker confirmed the same on social media.



Taking to Instagram, Priyadarshan shared a picture of Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan with a simple caption - "Haiwaan, my next film with Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan at Lords". The image was taken while the actor duo was watching the India vs England Lord's Test match.



The shoot of Haiwaan is expected to commence in August this year, and the film will hit the big screen in 2026. It is not yet clear who is backing this project.



Meanwhile, the upcoming movie also marks the reunion of Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan after 17 years. Their last film together was Tashan (2017). It will be Akshay's 8th film, including Bhooth Bangla, which releases next year, with director Priyadarshan, while their 9th collaboration will be Hera Pheri 3, which is due to start rolling early next year.
