Doctor Review: The Early Reviews For Sivakarthikeyan's 'Doctor' Are Out
Chennai, October 9 - It has been a long wait for actor Sivakarthikeyan's fans to watch their favourite star on the big screen. After going through the pandemic crisis, OTT speculations, and delays, the actor's action crime comedy film, "Doctor" was finally released in theatres on October 9.
"Doctor" has been one of the most-awaited Tamil films. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the movie was earlier supposed to release in April this year. However, due to the elections in Tamil Nadu and the second covid-19 pandemic, the makers were forced to postpone the release. There were also some reports claiming that the movie has been sold to Disney+Hotstar for direct-to-digital release, however, when theaters reopened, the makers confirmed that it will have only theatrical release first.
Produced by Sivakarthikeyan under his banner Sivakarthikeyan Productions in association with KJR Studios, "Doctor" also stars Priyanka Arul Mohan (in her Tamil debut) as the female lead along with Vinay Rai, Yogi Babu, and Milind Soman in supporting roles. The music of the film is composed by the brilliant Anirudh Ravichander, who had also composed the music for Thalapathy Vijay's blockbuster "Master". Meanwhile, the reviews for "Doctor" are out and it promises a blockbuster affair and worth a wait for fans.

Dark Comedy.. Caters to every type of audience.. @Siva_Kartikeyan has underplayed his acting as the character demands it.. Still, he scores big time in Mass scenes and Comedy..

#Doctor : It's another true blue entertainer from @Nelsondilpkumar barring a few hiccups. He remains to his strength of humour for most of the part and that has worked well. Thriller part is also handled well. Climax fight sequence could have been better though. Sure shot at BO🎯
