Golmaal Again to re-release in New Zealand

Rohit Shetty shared the news of the film's re-release on Instagram on Wednesday. He wrote, "New Zealand decides to re-release Golmaal Again in theatres making it the First Hindi Film to get a relaunch post covid. New Zealand is now covid free and is opening its theatres on 25th June with Golmaal Again. As it is rightly said - "THE SHOW MUST GO ON..."

Golmaal Again is a supernatural action comedy film which was released on 20 October 2017 worldwide. It is the fourth installment of the popular Golmaal franchise (not to be confused with the Hrishikesh Mukherjee's 1979 film Gol Maal). Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu, Shreyas Talpade, and Johnny Lever reprised their roles, while Parineeti Chopra, Tabu, Prakash Raj and Neil Nitin Mukesh were the latest additions in the film.

The film is produced by Rohit Shetty Productions and Mangal Murti Films. The outright comedy film earned over 300 crores worldwide and was one of the highest-grossing movies of the year.

FYI, in November last year, Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn announced the 'Golmaal Five' to which Ajay Devgn wrote on Instagram, "A film franchise which is not only the longest-running one in Hindi cinema but also happens to be one of my favourites! Prepare yourself for yet another laugh riot with #GolmaalFive".
