Kajal Aggarwal Confirms Being A Part of Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2'

Meanwhile, actress Kajal Aggarwal has refuted the rumors and confirmed that she is very much a part of the film and will resume shooting on September 13. It was recently reported that she has been dropped from the movie and the makers are looking for a new top actress to replace her in the movie.

However, during a recent video chat with Neha Dhupia on Instagram, Kajal confirmed that she is making her comeback with "Indian 2". The actress recently was blessed with a child. But she said she was asked by director Shankar and Kamal Haasan to return to the film sets next month.

"Indian 2" is the sequel to Shankar and Haasan's 1996 vigilante action thriller film. The movie, produced by Lyca Productions, also stars Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Bobby Simha, Nedumudi Venu (his posthumous film), and Samuthirakani. Anirudh Ravichander composed the music for the film.

It is be noted that 60% of the film's portions have been completed with more than 100 days of the film's shoot pending.
