'Kalki 2' Filming To Commence June 2025

Hyderabad, January 22 - Pan India superstar Prabhas and director Nag Ashwin teamed up for the first time last year in the form of sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD. The film was one of the biggest hits of the year with a worldwide gross collection of over 1000 crores.
Kalki 2898 AD ended with an exciting cliffhanger which raised curiosity for the second part of the franchise. As the fans are waiting for Kalki 2, the buzz for the movie is naturally strong and the latest update will surely keep the excitement soaring as the shoot date is locked for the second part.
It is learned that some parts of Kalki 2 have already been filmed with the first part, and producer Ashwini Dutt confirmed in a recent interview that Kalki 2 will go on to the sets this June. The seasoned filmmaker also promised the second part would be bigger than the first part in every aspect.
As has been hinted in Kalki 2898 AD, the second part will mainly focus on Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan while Deepika Padukone will have a strong presence. The film will likely be released in late 2026 or 2027 in multiple languages.
