Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2' Release Date Revealed

Chennai, February 24 - Legendary actor Kamal Haasan and director S Shankar reunited for the sequel to their vigilante action film Indian (1996). The movie has been in production for a long time and it is finally coming to an end after almost 5 years.
Produced by Lyca Productions, Indian 2 has been one of the most anticipated Tamil movies. There have been a lot of enquiries about the film's release date but the makers have kept mum about the same. Last year, it was revealed that Indian 2 might be ready to release on Pongal 2024 but that didn't happen.
Now, according to reliable reports, the highly-awaited movie will be hitting theatres worldwide in May this year and the official announcement for the same will be made soon. As reported earlier, the movie will be split into two parts and there will be Indian 3 as well which might release 6 months after the second film.
The film stars Kamal Haasan who reprises his role as Senapathy, an ageing freedom fighter turned vigilante who fights against corruption. It also stars S. J. Suryah, Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Vivek, and Kalidas Jayaram, among others.
