Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2' Trailer Date Revealed

On Sunday (June 23), Lyca Productions took to social media to announce that the trailer of Indian 2 will be launched on June 25, a little over two weeks before the film's release on July 12. As known to all, the movie will be released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages under the titles Indian 2, Bharateeyudu 2, and Hindustani 2, respectively.

Produced by Subaskaran Allirajah of Lyca Productions, the sequel will be released in two parts, with the third part (Indian 3) scheduled to be released in early 2025. In the movie, Senapathy, a freedom fighter turned vigilante who fought against corruption in India, returns from Hong Kong to aid Chitra Varadharajan, who has been exposing corrupt politicians in the country through videos on the internet.

The film stars Kamal Haasan, reprising his role as Senapathy, with Siddharth, S. J. Suryah, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simha, Vivek, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gulshan Grover, Samuthirakani, and Nedumudi Venu in the ensemble cast.

The movie will be released on July 12 and it will clash with Akshay Kumar's Sarfira at the Hindi box office.
