Kangana Ranaut's 'Tejas' Filming Will Begin In December 2020
Bollywood queen, Kangana Ranaut is all set to be seen as An Indian Air Force pilot in her next movie Tejas of which, the shooting will begin in December 2020.



"Tejas is an exhilarating story where I have the privilege of playing an air force pilot. I am honored to be a part of a film that celebrates these brave men & women in uniform who make immense sacrifices in the line of duty every day. Our film celebrates the armed forces and its heroes ... Excited to take this journey with Sarvesh and Ronnie", Kangana said in a statement.



Taking to Twitter, Kangana Ranaut shared a poster of herself with the Tejas fighter jet in the background and wrote in the caption, "#Tejas to take-off this December! Proud to be part of this exhilarating story that is an ode to our brave airforce pilots! Jai Hind Flag of India #FridaysWithRSVP".

Tejas movie will be directed by Sarvesh Mewara while Ronnie Screwvala will produce the film under his production banner RSVP Movies. Tejas will be the second movie of Ronnie Screwvala on the brave soldiers of the Indian armed forces after the all-time blockbuster, URI The Surgical Strike.



Tejas is the story of a daring and fierce fighter pilot, played by Kangana Ranaut. The Indian Air Force was the first of the country's defense forces to induct women into combat roles in 2016. The film takes inspiration from this landmark event.

Apart from Tejas, Kangana is also doing Thalaivi which is the biopic of late Jayalalithaa who was a politician and film actress who served six terms as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
