Kangana Ranaut's 'Tejas' Locks A New Release Date; Confirms A Big Box Office Clash
Mumbai, July 5 - Director Sarvesh Mewara's action thriller film "Tejas" starring Kangana Ranaut has announced its new theatrical release date. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala's RSVP Movies, the movie will be released worldwide on October 20 this year on the occasion of Dussehra.
"Tejas" is based on the landmark event in 2016 when the Indian Air Force became the country's first defense force to induct women into combat roles. It is about the courageous journey of an Indian Air Force pilot, Tejas Gill played the Kangana.
The movie was originally scheduled for Dussehra 2022 release but has now been slated for the same festive weekend in 2023. RSVP Movies took to Twitter to announce the new release date with new stills.

The movie, however, won't be a solo release as it will clash with Tiger Shroff's long-awaited "Ganapath - Part 1". Directed by Vikas Bahl, "Ganapath" is a sci-fi action thriller film that also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Kriti Sanon in key roles. It is produced by Pooja Entertainment.
Apart from the Bollywood movies, there is Thalapathy Vijay's "Leo" also scheduled for Dusshera weekend release in multiple languages, including Hindi.
