'Kannappa' Official Release Date Locked

Kannappa has been in the making since last year and the makers have now confirmed its release date. On Monday, Vishnu Manchu took to social media to announce that the film would be hitting worldwide cinemas on April 25, 2025, in multiple languages. The team unveiled a poster showcasing a trident to reveal the release date.

The film was initially planned for a December 2024 release but the makers are taking extra time in the production to make sure the best output is ready. Earlier, the team launched the teaser of the film at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival and that helped to create buzz.

Kannappa stars Vishnu Manchu in the title role alongside Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal, Kajal Aggarwal, Madhoo, and Mohan Babu, among others in supporting roles. It is produced under the banner of 24 Frames Factory.
