Chris Morris set the record for the highest strike rate in an innings in IPL as he scored 38 runs in 9 balls with a strike rate of 422.22 against RPS at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune on 11 April 2017. Shashank Singh is second on the list as he hit 25 runs in just 6 balls with a strike rate of 416.66 against Gujrat Titans.
