Major Details About Ranbir Kapoor, Yash's 'Ramayana' First Look Glimpse Revealed
There were rumours that the makers would only unveil the logo of Ramayana, and not the first look teaser as was speculated. However, the latest development has confirmed that the makers will indeed launch the first glimpse, which is 3 minutes long, on July 3.
Other than the 3-minute teaser, the makers have also shown a 7-minute showreel to the media. This particular unit offers insight into the planning and execution of this monumental project. However, the video will not be released online now, as it will be unveiled only closer to the film's theatrical release on Diwali 2026.
Also, it is revealed that the filming for the first part of Ramayana has been completed and the second part shoot will commence in August this year. The film is produced by Namit Malhotra's Prime Focus Studios and Yash's Monster Mind Creations.
The movie features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Yash as Raavan, Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita, and Sunny Deol as Hanuman. The first part of the Ramayana will be released on Diwali 2026, followed by the second part on Diwali 2027.
