Megastar Chiranjeevi To Join Hands With Director Puri Jagannadh?

Hyderabad, February 9 - Director Puri Jagannadh got a major shock with the disastrous result of his last directorial film "Liger" starring Vijay Deverakonda. The failure of the sports action drama also led to the cancellation of the duo's "Jana Gana Mana" which was supposed to be Puri and VD's immediate next film.

Puri Jagannadh since then been looking to bounce back strongly and he got excited when megastar Chiranjeevi showed interest to work with him. During a live video chat recently, Chiranjeevi asked the director to come to him with a script in hand so that they could begin working together.

Despite the interest, Chiranjeevi wanted to be fully satisfied with the script before committing to the movie. Now, as per the latest buzz in Telugu media, Chiranjeevi has liked the idea of Puri's version and the duo might announce their collaboration soon for real.

Chiranjeevi, meanwhile, has just delivered one of the biggest hits of his career in the form of "Waltair Veerayya". The movie has grossed over 210 crores worldwide and brings the megastar to its best again after a streak of failures.
