Megastar Mammootty's 'Turbo' Tops IMDb Most Anticipated Indian Movies of 2024 Chart

Kochi, May 14 - It seems Malayalam superstar Mammootty is coming to conquer the box office again with his action comedy film Turbo, directed by Vysakh. It is currently the most anticipated Indian movie of the year with 10 days left for the release.
The makers recently released the trailer of Turbo and it seems to have worked wonders with the general audiences. As per IMDb, Turbo is currently the most-anticipated movie, grabbing 32% of the total page views, followed by Prabhas-fronted Kalki 2898 AD with 27% of page views.
IMDb's most anticipated list keeps changing with new entries here and there but with just 10 days left for the release, Turbo is expected to occupy more space in the list as the buzz is peaking with each passing day. It is being seen as the next big hit from the Malayalam film industry which riding high with back-to-back successes.
Produced by Mammootty Kampany, the movie shows Turbo Jose, a Jeep driver from Idukki, gets in trouble and is forced to relocate to Chennai, where he gets entangled with Indhulekha and his best friend Jerry. However, a bunch of surprises in the form of Vetrivel Shanmugham and others await Jose in Chennai.
Turbo is scheduled to release on May 23.
