Mumbai Police Uses Ranveer Singh's '83' dialogue For COVID-19 Protocols
Mumbai, December 2 - Mumbai Police has admirers for its witty take of Bollywood film's dialogues, which the department used to create awareness about the covid-19 pandemic among the citizens. On December 1, the official Twitter handle of Mumbai Police shared a Bollywood reference yet again to create awareness about Covid protocols.
Mumbai Police's social media handle used a scene from the upcoming Kabir Khan directorial cricket biopic "83" to talk about the importance of wearing masks at all times. Taking a line from the recently released trailer of Ranveer Singh-led film, Mumbai Police send out a message to people who ignore Covid-19 safety protocols.
The dialogue was, "He doesn't know defence", the police wrote in their post sharing the screenshot of the dialogue, "When you don't wear your mask in spite of '83' million reminders". The post currently had 1.4K likes on Twitter.

Meanwhile, "83" is based on India's maiden world cup title win in 1983. Ranveer Singh plays the role of legendary Kapil Dev who led team India during the tournament. It is scheduled to release on December 24 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
